Sun Chemical inks will raise prices in the European market

Recently, with a series of ink company's product prices, Sun Chemical Company also announced that from November 1st on the European market ink price increase policy, the price increase is roughly between 6% to 12%.

The price increase product will include all Sun Chemical ink products, and the price increase will be determined based on the specific product conditions.

Sun Chemical's action was followed by the behavior of similar companies that have increased the price of ink products in the past few months. For example, the Flint Group has increased the price of its ink products in the United States and Europe by 5 % to 12%.

The reason for the price increase of various companies is mainly attributed to the increasing price of raw materials and the shortage of key ink production raw material ingredients, especially the lack of basic pigment production materials.

Felipe Mellado, deputy head of European Marketing at Sun Chemicals, said: “Sun Chemical will take effective measures in advance to minimize pressure on the ink market due to rising product costs, lack of materials, and transportation capabilities. We will work together with our customers and partners to ensure that the price increase will bring minimal pressure on all aspects of the market, and that the contracts and terms currently in force will not change due to price increases."
