Children's handmade New Year paper lanterns

Handmade materials: cardboard, utility knife, pliers, ruler, pen, and wire.


Start by cutting the cardboard into long, even strips.

Then, use a pin or a small tool to poke holes along the edges of each strip.



Attach a wire frame to the base of the lantern for structure.

Tie the wire together to secure the shape.









Once the wire is properly fixed, your lantern is complete and ready to shine during the Lunar New Year celebrations.
