Spice printing is the printing of special aromas to increase the appeal of prints.

In the printing of perfumes, perfumes are first added to printing inks, printed, or printed on paper with good absorption properties, and then printed or coated with transparent fragrance inks. This method cannot seal the spices on the printing surface. In the past, the fragrance was very weak after 10 days; in addition, the fragrance was very strong during printing, and inhaling this air for a long time was not suitable for the human body, and the spices were also wasted.

In order to preserve the scent of prints, it was invented in the early 1970s to enclose the spice in micelles. The micelles were added to the ink and printed. When the micelles were destroyed, the scent gradually emanated and the diameter of the micelles. For 10-30 micron, the film thickness of colloidal particles is about 1 micron, and the film layer can make the fragrance last for a long time. It is not distributed in the process of operation. Usually after one year of printing, the flavor has not changed.

The method for producing the micelles includes chemical, physical chemistry, and mechanical methods. Microgel particles and organic solvents will diffuse through the membrane to dissolve the fragrance. Therefore, perfume printing must use aqueous ink. When using water-based inks, moisture must be controlled. The smaller the perfume particles are in the dry state, the smaller the perfume permeability is, and the more moisture will be. Large, water-based inks dry slowly, so use a desiccator to reduce the exudation of perfume from the microparticles.

Perfumes printing can be stencil printing or photogravure printing, and stencil printing is the simplest. Smear printing has problems with slow speed and poor fit. It is suitable for printed products with small area. Photographic gravure printing method is used. Because it is a water-based aromatic ink, there are 10 to 30 micron particles in the ink. It is easy to scrape off the ink in the graphic part when the ink is scraped. It is also easy to use during the scraping and embossing process. Destruction of rubber particles, the key lies in the flat pressure resistance of the rubber particles. If it can reach 10 kilograms, it can meet the printing requirements.

The spice printing is mainly used for packaging and printing. The food package is printed with the same fragrance as the inner food. Various perfumes and fragrances are printed on cosmetics. General instructions, postcards, calendars, and New Year's cards are printed with flowers to promote sales. commodity.

At present, the cost of printing of spices is still too high, and non-aqueous perfume inks are yet to be studied.
