Secure the Bracket to the Wall with the Screws Provided
The stability of your shelf starts with the brackets. Once you’ve chosen the perfect spot for your shelves, follow these steps to make sure they’re safely mounted:
- Unwrap each shelf and carefully remove the hidden bracket. Make sure each bracket stays with its corresponding shelf—this is important for proper installation.
- Use a stud finder to locate the wall studs. If you're mounting on drywall, always try to screw into a stud for maximum support. If there are no studs available, use heavy-duty wall anchors to keep your shelves secure.
- Mark the positions of the brackets on the wall with a pencil. Hold each bracket against the wall and use a level to ensure it's perfectly horizontal.
- Attach the brackets to the wall using the screws provided. Make sure the "teeth" on the bracket are facing upward toward the ceiling for optimal grip.
