China's national culture and education have experienced rapid improvement over the years. As of October 27, 2014, at 5:20 PM, this research focuses on analyzing the relationship between cultural education, national income, and the development of the sports goods manufacturing industry. The study employs econometric prediction analysis software Eviews 5.0 and sociological statistical tools like SPSS 13.0 to process and analyze data effectively.
The methodology includes several key steps. First, a unit root test is conducted on panel data to ensure its stability, which helps prevent issues such as "spurious regression." Next, a cointegration test is applied to examine whether there is a long-term equilibrium relationship between cultural education levels, national income, and the growth of the sports goods manufacturing sector. Finally, the dynamic ordinary least squares (DOLS) method is used to estimate the cointegration model, revealing the dynamic interactions among these variables.
In terms of variable selection, cultural education level serves as a crucial indicator of the overall quality of the population. National income reflects the standard of living, and both factors significantly influence sports consumption. In academic circles, the number of university students is commonly used to measure cultural education, while per capita GDP represents national income.
To account for regional differences in history, culture, resources, and economic development, the study divides China into seven major regions, covering 31 provinces and municipalities. This approach allows for a more detailed and comprehensive analysis of the disparities in education, income, and sports manufacturing across eastern, central, and western China.
The proportion of college graduates has seen remarkable growth. Between 2003 and 2009, it increased by 392.20%, with a volatile rise from 2005 to 2007, followed by steady growth. Central China ranks second in graduate numbers, with a 532.85% increase over seven years. The growth trend in East China is similar. North, Northeast, South, Southwest, and Northwest China follow in order, all showing stable growth. Overall, the total number of college graduates nationwide rose by 394.01%, indicating a significant improvement in the cultural education level of Chinese citizens.
