After quenching and tempering, the comprehensive mechanical properties of Fix Chair should be optimized for other medium carbon structural steels, but the hardenability of FIX CHAIR is low, and the critical hardenability diameter of water is 12~17mm, and there is a tendency of cracking when water quenched. When the diameter is larger than 80mm, or quenched after normalizing, the mechanical properties are similar, quenching and tempering treatment for small and medium-sized mold parts can be obtained after high strength and toughness, and large parts, by normalizing treatment is appropriate, therefore, usually in FIX CHAIR refining or normalizing condition to use.
