"Synthesis of Briquette Reducing Agent Ceramics" Test Burned Successfully

The "coal reductant ceramic calcination method" (acquired by the national patent) invented by Luohai, Pingxiang's coal system science and technology cadre, was successfully carried out with 16 industrial trial burns under the strong support of the municipal government.
The "combustion of briquette reducing agent ceramics" (hereinafter referred to as "calcination method") is an industrial test burning conducted in the down-draft kiln of Pingxiang Chengdian Electric Company. According to the spirit of the municipal government's “coordination conference on the issues related to the 'calcining method' of industrial trial burns”, in August 2003, the trial burn coordinating group convened the “Test Burn Report” review meeting. The participants believe that the "calcination method" of the combustion mechanism is fully in line with the technical requirements of the kiln ceramic calcination, energy saving, environmental protection, obvious effect, to improve the ceramic firing quality, reduce the labor intensity of workers, shorten the ceramic firing time, make full use of local coal resources, Reducing product costs has significant economic and social benefits.
In order to make this scientific and technological achievement as effective as possible, the process of downdraft kiln of nearly 300 ceramics factories in Pingxiang was reformed to control dust and exhaust gas pollution. Participants suggested that the municipal government should prioritize special funds to support and coordinate the relevant departments to choose a representative one. The ceramics enterprises set up demonstration sites and strived for national and provincial policies and financial support to make Pingxiang become a demonstrative project base for clean coal instead of fuel oil, gas, and national resource conservation and environmental protection.
