Sun Chemical Launches WideStar Ink

SCLA (Sun Chemical Latin America) will exhibit new WideStar inks at the US Photo Exhibition. The Latin American group will also introduce the Solaris brand of inks and coatings for narrow-format printing.

Jim Cunningham, vice president of SCLA (Sun Chemical Latin America), said that WideStar inks are blended and produced in South America and meet local needs. Those lithographic inks have excellent transferability and ink balance, with the stability required for high-speed printing. In addition, WideStar reduces drying time, improves abrasion resistance, and enables printers to reduce the use of anti-aliasing powders. WideStar inks have excellent photosensitivity and are suitable for various substrates and printing methods.

Recently, Sun Chemical began using Solaris as a trademark for global inks and other products for narrow-web printing, especially those label products. Solaris includes a wide range of inks, from water-based inks to UV flexo printing inks, to screen printing, and the latest technologies for worldwide applications can be found at Sun Chemical. SCLA (Sun Chemical Latin America) provides Solaris products and provides them with technical services through local technical engineers.
