At their first appearance at such an impressive event as Casa Decor, the duo shared what they loved most about the experience. “The best memory was the camaraderie among the different interior designers and creatives. Each one presents their own style, making the event very eclectic and diverse. There's also a spirit of sharing and getting to know people in the sector you've followed for years but haven't met in person,†they said.
“We were clear from the beginning that we wanted to show that a commercial product like ceramics could be more than just a material. So we decided to create a living room where ceramics are used not only for walls and ceilings, but also for furniture pieces. Adding a touch of velvet and plants gave it a warmer and more sophisticated feel.â€
Masquespacio showcased a space for Roca Tile at Casa Decor, paying tribute to ceramics and its role in interior design and decoration. The concept, called “A Look to the Future from the Past,†explored new ways to adapt ceramics using Roca technology. It featured symbolic furnishings that "observe" us and details of organic vegetation, contrasting with floor and wall coverings to create a unique environment defined by its composition and lighting.
The elegance of polished marble’s twisting waters, its light-enhancing effects, and reflectivity are replicated in porcelain, offering a wider range of colors than natural stone itself. Luminous finishes, such as the indigo and cobalt of Marble Nouveau, and the white with ochre crisscrossed streaks of Marble Parana, highlight this innovation.
“Greco-Roman inspiration can be seen in the space, but brought into the future with a touch of surreal fantasy. We call it a 'ceramic dream' — a mood board of Roca Tile materials.â€
The new Roca Tile collections on display at Casa Decor come from exclusive trend research. They feature exceptionally bright marbles, solid-colored pieces, patterns, meshes, and tiles, offering endless decorative possibilities and projecting a coherent aesthetic across integrated spaces.
The space serves as a stage and exhibition, with a dreamlike atmosphere and artistic taste, created from a multitude of textures, formats, colors, and finishes that redefine how ceramics can inspire interior design and architecture.
“Roca has a strong commitment to sustainability, including continuous improvement programs and sustainable criteria throughout its production process. They focus on reducing environmental impact, minimizing material consumption, and reusing natural resources.â€
Casa Decor has been a witness and active participant in the evolution of interior design and design in Spain, highlighting these disciplines and showing the public the importance of living in an aesthetic, functional, healthy, and sustainable environment. Sustainability is a major trend, and Masquespacio's project reflects this, using products with artisanal processes that are less polluting.
