Colorimeter usage

Colorimeter Operation Guide: 1. Remove the lens cover to ensure clear access to the measurement area. 2. Turn on the power switch by setting it to the ON position. 3. Press the TARGET key to select the sample. The display will show the target L, a, b values. 4. Align the lens with the surface of the sample, then press the input key. Wait for the beep sound before removing the lens. At this point, the absolute color value of the sample will be shown: Target L **.* a ± **.* b ± **.*. 5. Next, align the lens with the object you want to measure. Repeat step 4. The displayed result will show the color difference between the object and the sample: dL **.* da ± **.* db ± **.*. 6. Based on the measured values of dL, da, and db, you can determine the color difference and the direction of color shift between the two samples. 7. To test additional items, repeat steps 4 through 6. This allows you to compare multiple objects against the reference sample. 8. To start a new measurement, tap the TARGET key again. The device will reset and prepare for the next sample. 9. After completing the tests, replace the lens cover and turn off the power to protect the sensor and save energy. This procedure ensures accurate and consistent color measurements. Always make sure the lens is clean and the sample is properly positioned for best results. Regular calibration is recommended for maintaining measurement precision.
