The salt spray settling rate in a salt spray corrosion test chamber refers to the quantity of salt mist deposited on a given area over a specific time. This parameter is crucial for evaluating the performance and consistency of the test, as it reflects both the density and uniformity of the salt spray. In addition to the effect of chloride ions, corrosion in such tests is also influenced by the diffusion of oxygen within the liquid film that forms on the metal surface. Smaller salt particles have a larger surface area, which enhances oxygen adsorption, thereby increasing the corrosive potential. In natural conditions, over 90% of salt spray particles have a diameter of less than 1 micrometer. Research has shown that when particle size is around 1 micrometer, the amount of oxygen adsorbed on the surface balances with the dissolved oxygen inside the droplet. Further reducing the particle size doesn't significantly increase oxygen adsorption. However, if the oxygen in the liquid film remains stagnant, once the film comes into contact with the metal, rapid corrosion occurs, and the oxygen level drops quickly, slowing down the reaction. But if the liquid film is continuously renewed, the corrosion process can continue. The renewal rate of the liquid film increases as the salt spray settling rate rises. If the settling rate is too low, the liquid film may not renew efficiently. When the sedimentation rate is below 0.3 mL per 80 cm² per hour, the corrosion rate increases with the rising rate, as the liquid film becomes thinner and oxygen reaches the cathode surface more easily, causing the corrosion to gradually stabilize. However, when the rate exceeds 1.2 mL/80 cm²·h, the liquid film thickens, making oxygen diffusion more difficult and limiting further acceleration of corrosion. Therefore, maintaining a moderate salt spray settling rate ensures stable corrosion rates and reproducible test results. Typically, the settling rate is controlled between 1 and 2 mL/80 cm²·h to guarantee accurate and consistent outcomes in salt spray corrosion testing.
Hair Care
Hair care, the literal meaning: to protect the hair. Hair is the most dirty part of the body. Hair care and cleaning are the most important! Hair, like skin, also has oily, neutral and dry types, depending on the amount of sebum film secreted. The number of shampooing should also depend on the individual, as long as it feels unclean, it should be washed. Having shiny and smooth hair is what every woman looks forward to, because soft and shiny hair will give people a bright and healthy feeling. Therefore, people pay more attention to the quality of hair, and hair care is more concerned with the development of fashion trends in the current society.
Hair care is not only related to age, environment, physical condition, occupation, but also should pay attention to the characteristics of the season. In summer, the human sweat glands and sebaceous glands secrete vigorously, and a large amount of sweat and sebum accumulate in the hair, creating good conditions for the growth of bacteria and fungi, so it is very important to keep the hair clean. Than to increase the number of hair washing, to wash once every 1-2 days is the most appropriate, after washing the hair can choose some hair raising agent, strengthen the care of the hair.
