Dewell Magnehelic differential pressure gauges and all Dewell's firm or oblique barometers can directly measure the relative static pressure of less than 0.01 inches of water compared to atmospheric pressure. If you use a barometer, it is best to choose an oblique pressure gauge, especially when the pressure is very low, it can measure accurate data.
Install a static pressure sensor in the air delivery pipe or forced air supply system, and correctly connect it to the low-pressure or high-pressure port of the instrument, it can start to work. It is recommended to use a static sensor or a pointed tube (A in the legend) to reduce the effects of turbulence. When the static pressure of the gas is high and the flow rate is low, a flange is used to connect a hole in the pipe wall of the conveying pipe (B) without a burr to obtain satisfactory static pressure measurement data.
