Reporter: What performance and technical indicators do your company pay attention to when choosing a gluing device? Do different products use different gluing devices?
Shangyanyin: mainly concerned with the performance of the paper conveyor belt. Because the folder gluer's production mainly depends on the transmission of the belt. If the performance of the belt is not enough, it is easy to cause uneven paper feed, resulting in problems such as misalignment of the cassettes and flares.

Different products, due to inconsistent cartridge type caused by the different gluing points, according to their own actual conditions, the printing factory, under the conditions permitting, it is best to be able to use different gluing device for processing. For example, some products are very small and need to install auxiliary equipment to ensure the stability of paper feeding, then in the disassembly process will consume a lot of effective production time.

Reporter: What issues should be noticed in the process of using a gluing device? After a period of use, what parts will you replace regularly?
Cigarette printing: When handling a gluing device, it is usually necessary to pay attention to these points:

1. Do not bump or wear the belt while changing the product;
2. Screws must be tightened to prevent damage to the machine during normal production and affect product quality.

We change the paper feed belt and cold glue roller once a year.

Reporter: You just mentioned that the performance of the paper-feeding belt is very important. What are the problems with paper-feed belts?
Shangyanyin: If the post-press equipment operating time is calculated according to 24 hours/day, if the care and maintenance of the paper-feeding belt are not paid attention to in the daily production process, it is easy to cause cracks and breakage of the belt, so it is necessary to avoid parking. Check and replace it in time.

Reporter: From our survey of printing companies, the bell mouth, the scratches on the surface of the printed products, and the opening of the carton box are problems that often occur in the process of gluing boxes. How do you solve them effectively?
Shangyanyin: The problem of the bell mouth is related to improper paper feeding. It may be a problem of the paper exit section. It is mainly solved by adjusting the speed of the feed knife row and the left and right belts.

The surface of the printed product is scratched. Carefully check the location where the scratching problem occurs. This can be solved by adjusting the pressure roller and the delivery position of the scratched area in time. Generally, when gluing small boxes, the belt may hang glue and scratch the prints.

The carton opening should be handled by the delivery pressurizing section. If the paper is very hard, you need to increase the pressure, and you must pay attention to controlling the amount of glue.
