New Wood Plastic Material with 50% Lower Cost

Reifenhauser Extrusion Technology has developed a new type of wood-plastic-plastic (WPC) surfacing system. The system combines a new type of profile with a die design, which reduces manufacturing costs by up to 50% compared to current market standards. Reiwood also has significant advantages when installed for wood decking or surface overlays.

The reduction of production costs by 50% is mainly due to the design of the surface profile: Only the developers of the new structure Reifenheer Extrusion Technology have saved more than 20% of the material. Despite material savings, the stability and technical performance of the profile still exceeds the VHI standard. In order to adapt to the new profiles, Reifenheiser Extrusion Technology has designed a new die for the Reifenhäuser Bitrudex extrusion line, which can significantly increase the speed of extrusion.

Reiwood can be installed at a very high level and designed as a snap system so that the plate can be easily combined with the base plate. The Reiwood profiles developed by Reifenhauser Extrusion Technology have neither hollow nor solid profiles, but combine the advantages of both systems.
