Introduces New Glass Packaging Paper on the Day

A Japanese company recently launched a new type of glass wrapper for the packaging of fresh fruits such as fruits and vegetables, which can inhibit their maturation and extend the shelf life by a factor of 2.
The surface of the cellophane is coated with a special chemical called decyl alcohol, which can inhibit the activity of ethylene-producing enzymes that promote the ripening of fruits and vegetables, thus prolonging the preservation period. The use of such wrapping paper not only makes it easier to transport such foods over long distances, reduces wear, but also reduces the amount of preservatives used and reduces costs.
