Remarks:

Traditionally, the highest peak of the seven continents is defined as - the highest peak in Asia Mount Everest is also the highest peak in the world (Everest 8845.13 meters above sea level); the highest peak in South America Aconcagua (Aconcagua 6962 meters above sea level); the highest peak wheat in North America Jinlishan (McKinley, 6195 meters above sea level); Africa's highest peak is Mount Kilimanjaro (5,673 meters above sea level); Europe's highest mountain Elbrus (Elbrus, 5,333 meters above sea level); and the highest peak of Antarctica is Vinson. The peak (Vinson Massif is 5,140 meters above sea level); the highest peak in Oceania is the peak of Chaya (5030 meters above sea level at Carstensz Pyramid) or the highest peak of Kosciusko (2,228 meters above sea level) in Australia.

Those with the "*" symbol in the text indicate that they had reached the top of Carstensz and Kosciusko; those with the "~" symbol indicated that they had reached only Carstensz; those with the "^" symbol indicated that they had only ascended to Kosciusko.

Among them, the youngest finisher was the Japanese Atsushi Yamada, who was 23 years and 9 days; the oldest finisher was German Gerhard Schmatz, 62 years old and 263 days; Kosciusko version, the fastest to accomplish this goal is New Zealander Rob Hall and New Zealander Gary Bal, they only spent an astonishing 7 months; Carstensz version, the fastest to achieve this goal is the British Andrew Salter, he also spent only 297 days.

Below are two list of climbers who EverestNews.com believes have reached the summits of the "Seven Summits#". There are two lists because some feel Kosciusko (formerly referred to as Kosciusko), the highest point on the Australian continent should be included. Actually a point of debate. Some feel that Australia is really not a continent, but that Australasia is, and therefore Carstensz should be included...

Note there are PROBABLY CLIMBERS MISSING from these lists. EverestNews.com keeps these lists because climbers want us too. Therefore, the information below is the list of Seven Summits that we have added to date. A good example is Stipe Bozic: he finished the This is not defined as historical fact. .
