U.S. Wyeth Releases Boxed Milk Powder in China

In December 2004, U.S. Wyeth, which has always occupied the high-end market for infant formula milk powder, launched a full range of boxed milk powder in China, focusing on the mid-range price of milk powder. The adoption of carton-packed milk powder is still the first in the industry, and reducing costs is the primary factor that Wyeth considers. Box milk powder not only meets the consumer's selection requirements, but also costs much less than canned food. For example, the market retail price of 400 grams of boxed hardcover children's music is 20%-25% lower than that of the same amount of canned milk powder. Boxed milk powder has the advantages of safety and health, low cost, etc. It will be a new trend of milk powder packaging. Due to the use of carton packs, the cost is much lower than cans: the retail price of the 400g boxed product market is only 45-48g, which is 20%-25% lower than the price of canned products. After Wyeth firmly established its foothold in the high-end market, it adopted a brand-new carton production line to launch medium and low-end products, seized every opportunity to develop ordinary consumers, and caused a new round of impact on domestic milk powder manufacturers.
