The principle of not using the glue to work normally is to add an appropriate amount of oxidizing agent to dilute and then oxidize again. Take care not to add water to dilute, so as to avoid degumming and squeezing.

4. In order to prevent the viscosity of the adhesive from being too high or too low, it is better to use a binder with a higher viscosity first, and not to add borax or boric acid prematurely. The binder to be added is added with caustic soda. Reaction for 2 hours or more, measure its viscosity, such as in about 70 seconds, can add appropriate amount of water thinning, to about 60 seconds, then add borax and then stabilized in 30 minutes to use.

5. When the adhesive is stored, it is best to store it in a sealed manner. Do not expose it to the air to avoid skinning.

6. The winter temperature is better than 8t, otherwise the reaction time is too long, the operation is inconvenient, and the quality of the adhesive is affected.

8. When sizing, the amount of glue used is controlled by (single-tile double-sided sizing) 80-120g/m. It is better to de-adhesive when too little, and too much drying speed is slow.

9. In batch production, a small test must be done for each raw material changed, and the ideal ratio and quantity of the materials used should be observed. When doing a small test, it is best to make 4-5 samples at the same time. Each sample is formulated according to different proportions, so that in a very short time, the best formula for adapting the new raw materials to the ambient temperature and humidity at that time can be observed. Proportions to avoid unnecessary surprises in mass production.

10. In the production of starch binders: the viscosity of the starch binder must be adjusted according to the object used.

1 High-strength corrugated paper, single-faced corrugated board and fine corrugated box-carton board adhesive with a viscosity of approximately 35±10 seconds.

2 Ordinary corrugated paper adhesive viscosity is about 50 ± 10 seconds.

Measure the viscosity of the adhesive:

Place 4 clean and dry coated cups on the rack, adjust the horizontal screws to make the viscometer horizontal, place 200ml enamel cups under the viscosity cup, adjust the temperature of the tested sample to the required temperature, and block the lower mouth by hand. Fill the viscous cup with the sample. Use a glass rod to scrape the air bubbles and excess sample into the groove. Then release the finger and allow the sample to flow out. At the same time, turn on the stopwatch immediately. When the flow of the sample is interrupted, stop timing. The total time (s) out of the viscosity cup is the conditional viscosity of the sample.
