According to overseas news media reports, a company in Osaka City, Japan, recently developed a cement coating containing organic materials. This product is formulated with acrylic and methacrylic ester copolymer emulsion resins, bisphenol epoxy emulsion resins, and heat-curable cement compositions. The cement composition is composed of ordinary portland cement, high-aluminum cement, anhydrite, lime, and an alkali metal salt accelerator. Coating the surface of cement particle board, asbestos cement board, precast concrete board and other cement products with this kind of paint can improve the water resistance and corrosion resistance of cement products, and can greatly extend the service life of products.
