Recently, Belgium-based 3D printing software and service provider Materialise partnered with Finnish design studio KAYIWA to create a groundbreaking series of 3D-printed fabric hangers called “DINO.†This innovative product merges art and function, offering a sleek, adaptable solution for any wardrobe. Whether placed in the living room, lounge, or closet, DINO stands out as both a practical and aesthetic addition.
Lincoln Kayiwa, founder of KAYIWA Design Studio, explained, “The advancements in 3D printing over the past decade have allowed us to bring ideas like DINO to life. We’re focused on sustainable development, and DINO reflects that by using recycled materials.†The hangers are made from leftover polyamide powder generated during the laser sintering process, making them an eco-friendly choice.
What makes DINO truly unique is its customizable height, designed to accommodate people of all sizes—whether a child or someone who uses a wheelchair. It ensures that everyone can hang their clothes without worrying about wrinkles or discomfort. Plus, its modern design elevates the look of any space, proving that functionality and beauty can go hand in hand.

Currently, DINO comes in three models: straight, wave, and modular, with eight standard colors—black, blue, green, orange, red, purple, white, and yellow. Customization options extend beyond color, allowing users to tailor the hangers to match their home decor or even a company’s brand identity. Whether for personal use or commercial purposes, DINO offers a fresh and sustainable approach to wardrobe organization.
